My name is Aneesh Chaudhry, and I am 25 years young. I was born and raised in the small town of Beavercreek, OH. From a very young age, I was interested in health and fitness and how I could begin to apply these principles to my life. I was always outside playing sports with the other kids in the neighborhood. Physical activity was a great outlet from school, in addition to being my favorite way of socializing and making friends throughout my childhood. I played varsity tennis all 4 years of high school, which taught me the value of teamwork.
I got certified as a Personal Trainer through the Cooper Institute when I was 19 years old, living in the suburbs of Chicago. After working for a few different commercial gyms, I decided that I wanted to go down the entrepreneurial path. Starting up my own personal training business was the best way to serve my client’s needs given my unique and diverse knowledge base. I taught yoga for a year at the gym on campus while I was training clients in their homes on the side of school. Throughout my undergraduate degree I completed several additional certifications to deepen my understanding of the human body.
These certifications include:
-Brain Health Coach: Through the Amen Clinics
-Reiki Master: Through Huntington Beach Reiki
-Mind Body Specialist: Through the American Council on Exercise (ACE)
-Corrective Exercise Specialist: Through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
-Performance Nutrition Specialist: Through the American Council on Exercise (ACE)
-Exercise Is Medicine, Level 1: Through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
-Health Coach: Through the American Council on Exercise (ACE)
I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Neuropsychology in 2016 from Wright State University. I chose this field of study because I am fascinated with the growing body of research on the brain and its incredibly malleable structure. Understanding how the brain impacts human behavior opened up a totally new perspective on life for me. I am extremely passionate about learning, which is why I am always pursuing some form of continuing education. In addition to owning and operating my health coaching business, I am working on my MS in Ayurvedic and Integrative Medicine. I will be a licensed Ayurvedic Practitioner in 2022.
Outside of work and school I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, reading, and meditation. Traveling to various destinations all over the world has helped to expand my horizons beyond life in the United States. Experiencing the culture in other countries has created a strong sense of gratitude for me and all that I have been blessed with in my lifetime. My favorite travel destination would have to be Italy, because of the rich architecture and amazing food. After tasting the pizza and pasta here it is tough to return to what I once knew!!
